Actually if you take the time to look at the cars on this list you'll find that most of them are there due to certain innovations that each had to offer.

Actually you are correct that the individual lithium cells are manufactured by LG in S. Korea, but 95% of the battery pack for the Volt is assembled in GM's new 160,000 square foot battery plant in Michigan.

Thank you, now we can clearly understand that the biggest problem that GM needs to face is changing the logo for Chevrolet. This has to be one of the most asinine comments that I've seen.

So it's not a "green" car but a Islamaphobia car? And we get most of our oil from our Northern neighbors Canada. No, it's a matter of not wanting to be reliant upon foreign sources for our transportation needs (including Canada).

It's almost like people in the US would love to see all of the GM and Chrysler employees (and all those support organizations/suppliers) go under so that our nation's unemployment can grow from ~25% to over 50%. Misery loves company.
