  • Actually you are correct that the individual lithium cells are manufactured by LG in S. Korea, but 95% of the battery pack for the Volt is assembled in GM's new 160,000 square foot battery plant in Michigan.

  • It's almost like people in the US would love to see all of the GM and Chrysler employees (and all those support organizations/suppliers) go under so that our nation's unemployment can grow from ~25% to over 50%. Misery loves company.
